Hello, I’m Adnan (He/They), a dedicated Peer Support Provider committed to fostering inclusive spaces and communities where empathetic dialogue thrives around queerness, faith, and intersecting identities. As someone who navigates complex interactions of identity and faces marginalization due to societal misconceptions and prejudices, I understand the struggles of reconciling our various intersecting identities, which can often feel overwhelming and isolating. Currently pursuing computer engineering while nurturing my passion for writing, I’ve actively engaged with LGBTQIA+ organizations such as The Queer Muslim Project, The Humsafar Trust, and Safe Access. As a queer Muslim individual, I recognize the importance of offering a safe and empathetic listening ear for individuals navigating their own unique journeys. Whether you’re struggling with challenges in navigating your identity, or simply need someone to listen, I am here to offer non-judgmental support and guidance on your journey towards healing and self-discovery. Remember, you’re not alone—I’m here to support you every step of the way.

Hello, I’m Smriti, a trans man from Pune. I work with Pune Queer Collective, a collective working with queer and trans youth in the city. I’m also working part-time, doing my B.A. in English Literature and volunteering as an English teacher at a community learning centre. As a peer support provider, firstly I hope to create a safe, warm, welcoming and non-judgemental space for the support seeker. I believe that there is power in being able to understand and name our pain. Grieving, healing, changing and growing are as much individual as they are collective, as much personal as they are political. Informed by an anti-caste and queer feminist perspective I hope to work with support seekers to use this power as a source of strength and healing in writing and rewriting our stories.
