Ms Amrita (she/her) is a private practitioner and founder of New Dimensions Counselling, an online platform dedicated to provided mental health services. She adopts a trauma informed, cultural-relational approach that enables individuals to appreciate their individuality, develop a sense of agency, self-compassion and self-awareness.She also views therapy as a space to unfold wounds stemming from systemic factors and adopts a social-justice framework in understanding each client’s narrative. She works with adolescents & adults experiencing a diverse range of concerns such as mood issues, stress, trauma, personality related concerns, body & health related concerns & identity based concerns. Her work is guided by a holistic approach to wellbeing and draws from psychodynamic, cognitive and somatic based modalities. Her approach to therapy entails creating a safe, empathetic, unconditional and collaborative environment, which enables individuals to lead a fulfilling, healthy and authentic life.
