Hello, I’m Ankush (He/Him), a cis gay man earning my bread and butter—and paying my bills—as an IT professional.
As a queer, divorced person, I’ve experienced how complex it can be to navigate identity, societal expectations, acceptance, and the many dilemmas and judgments that often come with them. At times, it feels like different parts of who we are are in conflict—not only within ourselves but also with the people we love. My own journey has taught me the value of being genuinely heard, understood, and accepted without having to explain or justify who I am.
Outside of work, I love travelling and often set off on solo trips, as they give me the chance to meet new people, experience different cultures, and reconnect with myself.
I strive to create a space where you can talk openly about your thoughts, emotions, or uncertainties without worrying about being judged or expected to have all the answers. My role isn’t to tell you what to do, but to listen with empathy, understand your perspective, and walk alongside you as you explore what feels right for you.
As we live our lives, questioning and finding answers one at a time, it’s like trying to solve a puzzle by adding each piece one by one.
Many of us come across similar situations, similar confusions, and similar judgments. Hence, we share similar struggles, even though each one of us is at a different stage of solving that puzzle.
In yoga, there is a concept called “Sakshi Bhav,” which essentially means observing yourself from the outside as a witness.
I feel peer support works in a similar way. When you speak to someone who has gone through a similar experience, it gives you the feeling of observing your own life from an outside perspective, helping you understand it with greater clarity.
I would love to provide a safe & brave space where judgements have no place.
