Hi, I’m Lovenish (She/They/LK), a trans woman based in Delhi.
I work in policy communications. I’m someone who values kindness, empathy, and creating spaces where people can feel comfortable being themselves.
Growing up as a queer child in Haryana and coming from a caregiving background has deeply shaped how I understand support and community. I know how important it is to have someone who listens without judgment, especially when conversations around mental health and identity are still considered taboo in many spaces.
Over time, I realized that while therapy is invaluable, it isn’t always accessible or affordable for everyone. That understanding is what drew me to peer support.
I wanted to become a Peer Support Provider because I believe care doesn’t always have to come in the form of solutions. Sometimes, being heard, understood, and reminded that you’re not alone is enough. I hope that anyone who speaks with me leaves the conversation feeling a little lighter and knowing that their feelings are valid.
Thank you for reaching out. I’m really glad you’re here. You don’t have to have everything figured out, we’ll take this conversation one step at a time.
I have a keen interest in public policy, governance, and art. I enjoy learning, meaningful conversations, and connecting with people from different walks of life.
