Hello, I’m Hritwik. My pronouns are he/him.
I identify as Queer and I live in Pune. I’m a pastry chef, public policy professional, with vested interests in creating thoughtful, nurturing, gentle spaces for people.
My journey has been shaped by learning how powerful it is to feel truly heard and supported even in situations where you do not have language to express your emotions. Common emotional descriptive language in English could not find appropriate counterparts in my Assamese vocabulary to describe queerness. Having people who understood what it feels like really helped.
A simple image I come back to is a kitchen table: two people seated with warm light, a cup of tea, and no hurry. One person speaks; the other listens fully, perhaps offers a gentle idea, and stays through the silence. That steadiness—that everyday care—is what peer support is for me. If you choose to reach out, my promise is to bring that table to our conversation: curiosity, shared experience, and steady attention.
I listen first—fully and without interruption. I reflect what I hear, name emotions, and ask gentle questions to understand you better. My support centers on holding space, validating your experience, and offering one small, practical step if you want it. I may not be able to put myself in your shoes, but I will hold space for you.
You’re safe here—tell me what’s on your mind when you’re ready; I’ll listen without judgment and stay with you, one step at a time.
