Hello there! I am Jo (she/they) and I identify as a queer (omnisexual and genderqueer) person. I am an intersectional feminist and queer rights advocate. I am an attentive listener who engages with empathy and sensitivity.

Being queer can be a long journey of exploration, rejection, betrayal and more, and my presence will remind you that your journey, no matter how unique or challenging, is still valid.

As someone from the community, I can understand your struggles in a way non-community members can never imagine. To know someone gets you, someone can feel you, even when you lack the words to explain yourself, is precious, and I am here to provide you exactly that. As a “peer” supporter, our shared knowledge of being queer is the foundation of my practice. 

 Imagine cozying up in your room with a hot cup of chai on a rainy day, as the world outside quiets down. Time has almost stopped for a while and as the rain pours, you feel like you’ve been granted a few minutes where you can feel safe, at peace and just be yourself without being rushed or hushed. That is the kind of space I am trying to create with my practice.
Just remember, I am not here to judge you or lecture you. You are the owner of your life, and I am here to accompany you during a steep hill up or down on this journey. So take a deep breath and allow yourself to open up. I am cheering you on!
