Hello, I am Prasant Meera, a transfeminine nonbinary person from Guwahati, Assam. I have worked in the areas of health, intersections, queer mobilising, GBV, women rights and child rights.

I understand that daily life can be exhausting and not having a person to share that with is more exhausting. I have navigated rejection in relationships because people often reject my non-binary identity and link it to the outer appearance. I have been betrayed by my family over resource sharing and my friends questioning my identity as a dual standard mechanics, here, still I am understanding my mind and body and the community that goes through cross examination almost everyday. All of these reasons got me here as a peer supporter, as I believe we can be together in times of crisis.

Peer support to me is a support given without demands or expectations, just being there for someone who truly needs it.

The kind of space that you will get is a person who listen just to listen and not to suggest, a person who would help you understand the reflection of emotions, the scarcity of the world that often forces queers to just breathe and have nothing else. The systematic erasure that seems hard can be handled with the care of a community of listeners and healers. I also think I am a healer

If you are someone willing to talk to a person without judgments. Call me up!
