Shanmathi (she/her) is a trauma-informed queer affirmative psychotherapist with a Master’s in Counselling psychology. She has experience in working with adult survivors of gender based violence and their families. Shanmathi’s experience includes working both online and offline with Adults between 20 and 60 years of age. Shanmathi is a Disabled queer woman and works with LGBTQIA+ and disabled individuals predominantly. She speaks Tamil and English fluently. She uses a person-centric, trauma- informed intersectional feministic lens in her work and uses an integrative approach.
I ensure to work towards creating an open and comfortable space for clients to feel safe and travel along with then in the journey of growth and wellness.
