Having finished her masters in applied clinical psychology from TISS, Sravani (she/they) is a practicing queer affirmative counselling psychologist with a work experience of 2 years. They have done a certified course from Mariwala Health Institute. They worked in NIMHANS for 1.5 years as a substance abuse counselor. Their private practice is currently online, with a sliding scale on a need and availability of slots basis. some concerns they specialize in include- individual counselling concerns surrounding grief and bereavement, queer affirmative therapy, distress counseling, personal growth and productivity, substance use and abuse, body image and self-esteem concerns, therapy for ADHD, anxiety and depression. modalities used include but not limited to CBT, REBT, DBT, Art therapy, narrative practices, hypnotherapy and existential therapy through a queer informed, caste sensitive, client-centred lens. They are passionate about queer rights, neurodiversity, sex education and advocacy, juvenile welfare and establishing safe spaces in individuals and communities through kindness and nurturing empathy.
