I’m Sumit (he/him), a Peer Support Provider with the Safe Access Foundation under the Community Wellbeing Project. I’m currently pursuing my MBBS and am passionate about community wellbeing.

We often carry our emotions alone because we are afraid of being misunderstood or dismissed. Peer support creates a space where you don’t have to hide how you feel. You can be honest, and someone will be there to listen with empathy, not prejudice.

I believe everyone deserves to feel heard.

I hope to create a safe, non-judgmental space where they can speak openly, at their own pace, without worrying about being criticized or misunderstood.

My support will be guided by empathy, respect, confidentiality, beneficence, and non-maleficence. Above all, I want people to leave our conversation feeling heard, respected, and a little less alone.

One thing I’d like you to know before we talk is that you are enough and your feelings matter and you have every right to express yourself.

In my free time, I enjoy watching movies, cooking, and reading. I love meeting new people, learning from different perspectives.
