As a queer-identified Counselling Psychologist, I work with an understanding of mental health as a broader concern for human rights and social justice, rather than as something solely located in the individual. I practice non-directive client-centred therapy with a firm affirmative and feminist stance. I have also undergone the Queer Affirmative Counselling Practice course run by MHI. I also work as a consultant counsellor for Nazariya: Queer Feminist Resource Group. I work with a diverse clientele, mostly with people from different marginalised groups. I work around issues of gender, sexuality, trauma, abuse etc.
