Hello, This is Vignesh (he/him). I am a gay man, based out of Bengaluru, my native is Kanchipuram. I am a software engineer.

Growing up as a gay man in rural areas of Tamil Nadu, I did not see any representation in the media, and had access to community support. Mental health has always been a taboo. The biggest fear about any aspect of life is facing it all alone, the uncertainty, the distorted thoughts. The reality is that, as queer community, we share many aspects and experiences of life. Thus, by being there for each other, we can navigate our life easier, better. I hope my support seeker, that is you, feels better after our sessions. 

I have attended Peer Support Training from Safe Access. With my lived experience as a queer person, I believe in my potential to hold space for the fellow community people. I would like to be there for the queer person who is in need of a non-judgemental person to listen to them and hold space for them.
