*Available all over India* PrEPARED provides free doctor consultations, community-friendly PrEP Counselling, discounted PrEP panel tests, and free home delivery all over India. This initiative by VARHAD was conceptualized with the aim to reduce HIV incidence rates among high-risk groups in India, which includes men who have sex with men (MSM) and Hijra/Transgender community (assigned male at birth), by creating awareness about, and improving access to pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP). PrEPARED offers PrEP educational resources in multiple Indian languages on its website.

PrEPARED is a pan-India project with CBO partners and outreach workers in multiple cities across the country. We provide PrEP. We also provide referrals for HIV testing through our website. The core team of the project works out of Mumbai. A majority of PrEPARED's staff are members of the LGBTQ+ community, and have previously worked in the queer public health sector. PrEP is provided at Rs. 400 per bottle. The PrEP panel tests are available via two lab partners which provide home-collection services. Panel tests done through Redcliffe Labs cost Rs. 470, and the follow-up tests cost Rs. 410. Panel tests done through Thyrocare cost Rs. 600, and the follow-up tests cost Rs. 500.
