Aryan Somaiya, 35 from Mumbai and he is working with The Alternative Story. Aryan holds a Master’s degree in Psychology with specialization in Clinical Psychology. His experience includes providing therapy through technology-based modes to individuals from young people to middle-aged adults. He is a transman and is keenly interested in working with queer and trans clients. He is a trainer at Queer Affirmative Counselling Practices and has held trainings on gender-sexuality, pleasure and desire at universities like Tata Institute of Social Sciences. He also has a keen interest in building safe spaces for queer and trans people. He primarily uses queer and trans feminist approaches and other strength-based approaches of counselling. He is fluent in Gujarati, Hindi and English. He enjoys camping, dancing and sports and loves doggos and cats.
